The Mary Barbour Conference Suite is dedicated to the memory of one of Govan’s great working class heroes – Mary Barbour. Mary Barbour organised the city wide Rent Strikes of 1915, and challenged oppression and poverty in both Govan and Glasgow during the First World War.
The Mary Barbour Conference Suite is used by many different organisations/groups for various types of events, such as: Conferences, Meetings, Local Clubs/Classes/Groups, Parties etc.
